Resilient Beat: Holding the Space for Race

Tuesday, June 16, 2020
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Every Tuesday In June from 6pm to 7pm eastern time, is one small step that can lead to giant steps toward having the conversation on race, towards building bridges across differences.

Marvin Gaye begged for the answer to: What’s Going On?” Right now you may be feeling these lyrics from Marvin: “Make me wanna holla! Throw up both my hands.”

Multi-generational Black trauma is now felt globally. From New Zealand to the Amish communities, there are witnesses and allies after the lynching of George Floyd.

The question on hearts around the world is: “Where do we go from here?” Martin Luther King, Jr went even deeper with his question For all of us:
“Where do we go from here: Chaos or Community?“

My vote is for community. We need a talking space, a healing place where our stories can breathe, where we can connect hearts against the backdrop of a COVID 19 world.
