It’s the story that only you can tell! Learn the techniques of creating your very own memoir. Use writing prompts that make the process a joy and not a chore. Learn how to select episodes in your life that will illustrate who you are, that your life matters. At the end of six weeks you will have a short memoir to bind and share (if you choose) with family and friends. All levels of writing experience are welcomed as long as there is a story in your heart.
Writing takes place before class and during classes. Students receive both writing practice and content on memoir writing. Students may have the opportunity to form offline feedback teams for more in-depth peer support.
